Deniz Cinar

Biography

Deniz Cinar (he/him) is a PhD student in the combined program with Film and Media Studies. His previous research has examined collaborative practices in theater and performance studies; Jewish theater historiography in Turkey; queer and trans representation in post-1980 comedy films and the cultural history of the film Western in Turkey; and the politics of Turkish soccer fan documentaries.
