Biography
Ali Hassani is a fourth-year student in the combined History of Art and Comparative Literature PhD program who works between medieval Islamic and modern Arab art and literature, with a strong secondary interest in the history of Islamic carpets. He received his BA from Columbia University in 2021, double majoring in history and German and French comparative literature.
