Dudley Andrew (translator of Andre Bazin’s New Media), Alice Kaplan, Debbie Glassman and Natasa Durovicova, the translators of Andre Bazin on Adaptation (2022), will discuss the challenges of working in tandem on these volumes, including Bazin’s arcane vocabulary, signature syntax, and his tone in addressing different reading publics depending on the journal of publication.
