Professor Robyn Creswell’s English translation of Iman Mersal’s The Threshold, published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux, won the 2023 National Translation Award in Poetry. The collection, translated from Arabic, was also a finalist for the Griffin Prize, and has received enthusiastic reviews in the The New York Review of Books, The Nation, and elsewhere.
